A win’s a win, right Ash?
Well, that was painful to watch. I ain’t too mad about it though. With the Cats firmly on the NCAA tournament bubble, getting the ‘W’ is all that matters right now. Kyle Wiltjer led the way for UK (no, that’s not a typo), coming off the bench and chipping in 17 points and 5 rebounds. Meanwhile, Nerlens Noel was his usual self, providing a spark throughout, and filling up all the columns in the box score (12 points, 9 rebounds, 6 blocks, 4 steals, 2 assists). Ryan Harrow was a steadying force at the point, and Julius Mays, while almost non-existent in the first half, hit two huge threes down the stretch to keep the Vols at bay. Tennessee guard Jordan McRae led all scorers with 23 points.
Check back in a bit for the in-depth recap, but for now, just enjoy the fact that the Cats are back in the realm of the winning.

NN is awesome. And it would be really nice to see Kyle continue to improve. He seems to take backward steps sometimes. He has so much potential. His passing makes him especially dangerous. Just keep it in forward KW.
