Stop me if you’ve heard this before. In the latest bracketology, Jerry Palm of CBS Sports has Kentucky has a #10 seed in the Midwest, facing #7 Colorado State in the first round (it’s not the second round. It never will be).
This #10 spot irks me, for many reasons:
-Kentucky has won five in a row.
-Kentucky beat Ole Miss convincingly, a current #9 seed.
-Kentucky has the same record has Wisconsin (#4 seed, although I will concede that they are on a great roll right now); Minnesota (#5 seed on a two-game losing streak); and Ohio State (#6 seed on a two-game losing streak).
-Half of UK’s losses come to Notre Dame (#6), Duke (#1), and Louisville (#3).
Although, I have to say, I would take a second round matchup against an overrated Arizona team in a heartbeat.

Wisc as a four seed isn’t overrated in my book, they have real quality wins. I’m a cats fan through and though, but until we get a win vs florida, they deserve to have a higher seed. Ole Miss is our only ‘good’ win..and I hate to say they’re not too great…go cats!

Unless we suddenly become much better seeding is going to matter little. So many teams could beat us right now. Conceivably it could come from Willie, Kyle, and Julius but it appears to me that Archie and Alex are at least a year away. I’m losing optimism.
