The Cats had a big win last night against Vandy that boosted the fan base’s morale and showed that the team wasn’t ready to call it quits. Their energy was up, they played with passion, and for the first time in a while played well the entire 40 minutes. Although they showed signs of exhaustion in the second half, and Vandy was able to cut the lead, they picked it back up and came away with a 74-70 win.
A new intro video aired last night with a “let’s fight” theme.

Patrick Patterson was traded to the Sacramento Kings and will now be playing alongside Demarcus Cousins and Chuck Hayes. A lot of Kentucky fans just hopped on the Kings bandwagon.
After the game Calipari said that the team played Dodgeball last night to get them to relax and just have fun. Judging from the team’s performance yesterday, it seems that dodgeball was the key to pump the guys back up. The video was awesome, but John Robic is even more awesome.
ESPN’s Game Day will be in Lexington this Saturday, but before they get here they will make a pit stop in Louisville at Middletown’s Buffalo Wild Wings today from 3-6. There will be several giveaways along with a chance to win tickets to the Florida/Kentucky game on March 9.
Since Nerlen’s injury, there has been speculation about whether he will return for another year or enter the draft. Currently Chad Ford now has him projected as the 3rd pick.
The Cats will take on Missouri Saturday night at 9:00 after what is guaranteed to be an exciting and entertaining game day.
