After the game tonight, Harrow, Goodwin, and Poythress al told reporters they currently plan on coming back next year while Willie Cauley-Stein was less committal. Here’s what each had to say, from KSR main:
Ryan Harrow: “I’ll be here next year.”
Alex Poythress on the NBA: “I’m not ready,” “We’ll get it right next year.”
Archie Goodwin: “If any of us said we should leave, we’d all be delusional.”
Willie Cauley-Stein “I got this empty feeling and I want to fill it. I want a ring before I leave college. …Right now, it’s looking like I’m coming back.” (added that he wanted to talk to his family first)
That’s a lot to process right now.

And thankfully JM won’t be. 38 minutes – 5 pts – 1 assist (maybe more but I only remember one). Never in the history of UK basketball has a player done less with his minutes. If we could add Nerlens Noel to the list of returnees, well, it would be the start of something really big.
