Eloy Vargas spent some time visiting with the kids at the UK Children’s Hospital this afternoon. According to his Twitter account, he had a wonderful time and left with a big smile on his face. Today’s visit from Vargas is just another in a growing list of wonderful ways in which this year’s Kentucky team is giving back to the community. On the heels of a national title, these players could be spending their last few weeks in Lexington doing absolutely anything they want. Stories have been breaking for weeks now about how many of the players are making their rounds to reach out to the Kentucky fans. It simply can’t be overstated just how many positive things have come from this group of players.

Thank you Eloy and all our cats. You have made us so incredibly proud this year. Your legacy will be more than our national championship. You ALL make me proud to be a wildcat fan.
