Most of the world’s celebrities and athletes are heading to Louisville today, but you won’t find a UK basketball player at Church Hill Downs. The Wildcats are en route to the nation’s capital to meet with President Obama this afternoon. I hope the President plans on apologizing to the National Champions for choosing the Tar Heels as his number 1 overall pick. The President is expected to meet with Cal at 4:55 and then with the team around 5. Tune in on ESPNU to see all the White House happenings. The last time the Wildcats met with a president was 1997 with Bill Clinton. Hopefully the President will wear that awesome jersey Cal sent to him….maybe? That’s a stretch, but we can hope. Right?
