I was unable to watch the team at the White House when it aired and have been waiting for some good footage of it. The White House released this video Friday of both President Obama and Coach Calipari’s speeches. I was distracted by Brad Calipari’s gum chewing and MKG’s smile, but if you can get past those small details it’s definitely worth a watch if you haven’t seen it yet, or if you want to rewatch the final celebratory moment of this season and number 8.

Thanks Tara. Jon Hood had that same weird look on his face that I’ll never get used to. ESPN3 has this on replay also. I thought that it was funny that after all the debate on the radio show last week about whether phones/cameras would be allowed in, it seemed like they were handing them out at the door to anyone who forgot theirs. eveybody was holding a phone or 2 up.

Why was Brad Calipari front and center? Wasn’t this event to honor the team? At best be should’ve been off to the side… The team should’ve been down front.
“My house”? Note to Obama, The White House is the people’s house. You’re a temporary occupant. VERY temporary, hopefully.

I don’t think there was an order to how they stood, I agree though. I would have liked someone other than Brad Calipari there lol
