Gary Henderson Named SEC Coach of the Year

by @ 7:30 pm. Filed under All Cats Everything

A huge congratulations to UK men’s baseball head coach Gary Henderson who was just named SEC Coach of the Year. Henderson is in his fourth season as Kentucky’s head coach. After being pegged to finish near the bottom of the SEC in the pre-season voting, Henderson led his Kentucky squad to one of the best season’s in school history. The Wildcats posted a school-record regular season win total with a 41-15 mark. The season started out in dramatic fashion with a 22 game undefeated streak. Henderson’s team came up just short this weekend in their quest to capture at least a share of the overall regular season SEC title.

Henderson will look to lead his team to a turnaround in the SEC tournament following the 0-3 sweep they faced against Mississippi State this weekend. Congratulations again to Henderson.
